Cool Friday The Orange

Well,

This was a favorite of a lot of folks.  My description of an orange that I was looking forward to consuming.

You felt cold in my hands on this late summer day.   I could feel your smooth yet bumpy texture and it was soothing to my warm hands.  I looked at your label and could see that you were inspected by Navelate #3107.  Ahh the seal of approval of taste.  I thought longingly to dig my fingers into your course skin and watch as your skin's orange tone separated to gave way to a whitish tint.  I started to automatically sniff to get a whiff of your refreshing and reviving aroma.  My soul yearned to ingest your delicate flavor.  My mouth watered with anticipation and my taste buds danced as I thought about the pleasurable experience that my tongue was about to have.  Hmmm  I hummed unconsciously not realizing that the sound was audible.
 My fingers started to shake as my fingernails dug into your orange colored smooth bumpy flesh.  I heard your skin separate as my hands slowly peeled off your outer skin.  Your liquid essence began to burst over my trembling hands and now watery eyes.  I don't know if the tears were from your quick surprising sting or my increasing desire to bring you ever so close to the now frenzied dance that took place on my tongue.  That fragrance Oh that beautiful sweet scent tantalized my nose.  I inhaled your scent  and let it course through my lungs.  Your scent began to overwhelm me as the trembling started to over take my arms.  My mind focused now on you alone.  I do not hear the idle rambling of  the days office bustle.  I do not hear the phone ringing nor the opening and closing of the door.   I only heard the soft peeling of your skin as my hands exposed your inner beauty for me to see.  I saw you there looking like an orange globe covered in web.  I could hardly wait to bring you to the quivering masses in my mouth that screamed your name.  My trembling lips slowly separated and my tongue sprouted forth begging to feel your essence rain down.  I brought you to my lips and my teeth began to take hold of you as your rain began to evaporate into the burning desire of my taste buds.  My eyes began to close as your liquid essence overtook the last remaining control that I once had of my soul.  I began to greedily devour your essence as the masses in my mouth demanded more.  Your floodwaters rushed across my tongue and flowed into my body.  Slowly your raging flood began to quench the my mouths fire.  Your essence calms my trembling lips.  It traveled to my bottomless pit and fanned out to trembling  hands and all shaking stopped.  You extinguished the yearning in my soul.  I heard the phone ringing again.  Ahhhh  Satisfaction.

It's time for another friday rhyme.  This is for the Gulf of Mexico oil spill.

Another oil spill, What a tragedy
Sea is getting punished with no mercy
Once again, The world suffers, fish do die
Shortage of fish in the ocean and we know why
Yet we'll continue to drill offshore
Dirty beaches are growing and here comes more
No swimming this summer, We'll work on the tan
And watch little kids play in the sand
All the while more oil we demand
Drill off the East Coast that's the plan
Oil execs will promise that drilling is safe
They'll put more safety measures in place
But it'll only be a matter of time
Before the oil leaks out another time
Solar and Wind power is the best bet
It's time to stop playing Russian Roulette
With our beautiful world that we did inherit
Please go Alternative Energy to spare it
