Oil Spill Another Cool Friday rhyme

Hey Everyone,

It's time for another friday rhyme.  This is for the Gulf of Mexico oil spill.

Another oil spill, What a tragedy
Sea is getting punished with no mercy
Once again, The world suffers, fish do die
Shortage of fish in the ocean and we know why
Yet we'll continue to drill offshore
Dirty beaches are growing and here comes more
No swimming this summer, We'll work on the tan
And watch little kids play in the sand
All the while more oil we demand
Drill off the East Coast that's the plan
Oil execs will promise that drilling is safe
They'll put more safety measures in place
But it'll only be a matter of time
Before the oil leaks out another time
Solar and Wind power is the best bet
It's time to stop playing Russian Roulette
With our beautiful world that we did inherit
Please go Alternative Energy to spare it
That's my opinion That's all I've got to say

You knocked me to the ground,  A blow so strong that even Mike Tyson called you wrong
You had me down for the count, Head spun about I was so hurt that I could'nt shout
You stared at me a while, I saw your smile, A smile crooked like a crocodile
You let out a big chuckle, My spirit buckled, I saw my blood on your big knuckle
My weary eyes they closed, My heart it froze yet somewhere deep inside my anger rose
I wiggled my ten toes, No time to doze,so I stood up straight like funky old clothes
Your eyes widen disbelief, I have no grief but like Wendys I still got the beef
I am Prepared for war, ready for more, I'll test your chin then make your mouth sore
No place for you to get rest, Here come the test, A right a left a cross I bring my best
My fist explode it's volcanic, Feel the panic, From a body that's strictly organic
Terror in the octagon, Your eyes are gone, Pow! One last blow for you to munch on
1,2,3..8.9,10, I got the win, I bet you won't smile in a fight again

It's that time of year, to wash your ride
To the car wash clean out the inside
Throw away the trash, there since fall
Throw it away tissues, gum and all
Deposit those coins in the vacuum machine
Voooooooommm suck up the dirt Get your carpet clean
Vacuum the seats, Vacuum the floor
Vacuum the dash 'till there's dust no more
Break the first president, Yeah a few ones
Spend those bills then the car wash runs
Sploosh here comes the water, Mud off the car
Here comes the wax, You feel like a star
Next comes the blowers, the drying is on
Car is dry but the tires look worn
Time to break out Mr Tire Shine
Tires look fresh ready to kick some behind
Now break out the ultra high gleem wax
Rub it in good like when you use ajax
Work out your arms, Work out your back
Work out your heart, short of an attack
Step back for a minute and admire your job
Now shine it again to impress the mob
Yeah you know, you're gonna cruise the street
With your fine shined ride looking so sweet
Take it all in and enjoy the street cred
Look at everyone smiling and nodding their head

It is that time for a cool friday rhyme!!

It's census time, I hope you filled it out
Ten minutes at most, Is what it's about
When were you born, What is your race?
How many live there and daily look at your face?
Is this a rental or do you own a home?
Not many questions to stress out your dome
If people live there, then what are their names
Are the occupants there guys or dames?
Please fill it out and dump it in your mailbox
Don't leave it abondoned in your drawer of socks
This census is important It's all about funds
Where the moneys stays or where the money runs
Fill it out Do it your community
IT might build a school or library
It might bring new roads it might bring a park
It might bring streetlights to brighten up the dark
Please take the time to mail it in
Your community needs your help my friend
